Renault Clio.....Timing Belt and Service.....

I bought a 99 Renault Clio 2 weeks ago. Its in absolutely great condition, inside and out, considering the age of the car. Only 2 lady owners with a genuine 21000 miles on the clock. Its NCT is due which i have yet to book. I had the timing belt kit replaced and a service done yesterday as it was recommended for me to do so as it is 10 years old and the timing belt has never been done.

However, i have noticed a noise coming from the engine since the service. Not too loud, but just because it wasn't there before the service I am slightly concerned. Has anyone else experienced this with a clio or any idea what it could be?

Its impossible for anyone here to tell what could be causing that noise, it could be one of many things. The best thing to do is bring the car back to the garage that carried out the recent work and have them look at it.

I also had my timing belt changed recently and I now notice that when I start the enging it will give a high pitched squeek. Is it the new belt settling in or am I in trouble????
