Register Sky Viewing card

    Hi,

    I just got Sky+ installled last week. When the installer came I had not received my viewing card. The Installer left me details on how to register the card. I have searched the forum looking for some instructions on how to register the card but I cannot find anything.

    Can anyone tell me what steps I have to complete to register the card?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello, just did some digging and found out you must do the following to active your card.

    1. You do not need to call them. Simply put the new card into your connected box and make sure it is connected to the phone line.

    2. Press "Services"

    3. Press 4 "System Setup"

    4. Quickly press 0, 1, select to enter the Installer Menu

    5. Ensuring your phone line is connected and your box is receiving a sat signal, select option 6 "New Installation".

    6. Follow the onscreen dialogue to activate your card.

    Your installer should have activated your card for you, but if he didnt then you should see a telephone number at the bottom of the sheet ur card was stuck on to ring if you havent a telephone line connected.

    U will need your system details in order to activate the card and these can be gotten by pressing

    option 4
    option 5
