VRT and changing speedo into kmh from mph

    do you have to change your speedo into kmh from mph when bringing in a car from the North?

    MPH clocks have a km/h scale too.:)

    Not all of them do. My last two cars had KMH only no mph.

    Not all MPH speedo's have KMH on them ASWELL.

    My last two cars that have KMH(post change over) on them do not ALSO have MPH.

    Afaik in the UK they need to change over KPH only Speedos to MPH, must be why the question by the OP was asked.

    hah, confusing yourself! MPH clocks come with KMH but KMH clocks dont come with miles is the answer!

    I actually got stopped in Enniskillen about 2 years ago being economic with the speed limit, cop asked me why I was doing x amount of mph over the limit and I said I only had KMH on the car clocks and wasn't sure of the ratio?!? He laughed and sent me on my way!!!
