Insurance 306 GTI

Hey I'm looking at getting a 306 GTI. I'm 21 and have been under my dad's name for the past 2 years. (Cheap student). So I'v more than 2 years driving experience and 2 and a half years full license. Anyone know where would be the best place to get quoted on one of these cars? I did a quote on xsdirect and it was like 3500.

I have one, got it insured with hibernian for 1K with 2yrs NCB & 25+, now 570 with 4yrs and 123.ie

for sale now too, *cough cough*

try bestqoute.ie there normally fairly good, they quoted me 750 for a 1.4 focus, 1yrs named driver and a brand new liscence
