Nah it was like that in my years, I don't think the percentage is right but you where given your best possible grade. If counting Christmas and Easter examinations helped you grade, they where counter. Otherwise it all based on the end of year.

Yeah for us it's 100% end of year or 60% end of year, 20% mid year exams and 20% assignments.

+1 for the 'doing all of the AutoCAD after Maths' list.

Just thought I'd ask, how are any other JFs doing with the autocad? I've yet to start mine and I should be devoting time to the maths test until tuesday, so it'll be a bit of a rush in the end.

I've done it. Having a bit of a problem with making the hatch for the insulation in thw walls, can't find the one she used. probably get it eventually. Oh and after drawing my entire drawing i realised that i hadn't done it in A4 limits, so scaled it down but now my work view, (ie the printout thing) has disappeared.
    ugh

When we had to do the house I completely faked it.We'ed been given a print out of what the house should look like, so I scanned it in, re traced the lines, added the features which where requested and handed it up. This meant that the relative proportions of all the objects where the same. Printed it out and handed it up. Best reproduction in the class.

When someone gives you something retarded to do, find a way to work around it.

Unfortunately we have to e-mail them the actual file this time, but I'm sure there is other ways around that.

So did I. I had an actual autocad drawing without the hassle of ensuring the dimensions of every object where consistent.

    Funny story.

Pavia sent around the assignment via email and asked people to submit it to the email address above.

A guy in our class sent his to g0701list.....

Eh, where/when is this exam thing tomorrow? I've been waiting on an email all day in the naive hope that someone would tell us. Checked the engineering undergrad page too, but I can't get in to "examination timetables" cause I'm not on the local network...

    I got it from http://www.tcd.ie/Examinations/Timetables/
You need to use your college login, not sure if it's location specific.. (I am in Halls, yes)

devinejay- I'm assuming you did some study the last two days though. I didn't.

I really haven't done much at all. I had intended on doing the huge backlog of Wileyplus as study, but I left it too late and the backlog was too great so I resorted to browsing the book from time to time.:o

I have however been in the library a lot this last week which is hopefully a sign of things to come for next term, if I spend enough time there I must eventually get around to doing maths :P

I started doing a few questions on Wiley, and was being very productive. I was then informed that the server hosting my session was in the process of being restarted, and would I kindly restart my browser and renavigate to their website. At this point, I though "Well, fuck you Wiley", and gave up.

I wonder do they realise that this test determines who does honours and pass maths next year?
