Is VAT included in the "Buy Me Now" offers on Ebay?

As per title I was wondering; Is VAT included in the "Buy Me Now" offers on Ebay? I have contacted a commercial buyer by email and they said that price listed is plus Vat. This is illegal as far as Im concerned as it doesnt say this anywhere on the Ebay classified. Any ideas? Cheers

The price on the listing should be the final price (excluding deliver, but that should be clearly shown too). If he's trying to add more, after you've bought it, then he's breaking the rules. Report the sale to eBay.

If I remember correctly, the rule USED to be that it wasn't required to include VAT in the BIN price but you were supposed to state in your description that VAT would be added. This, of course, left you open for negative feedback. Now it is policy that VAT must be included in the BIN price.
