We've never even got a point from Craven cottage in the PL and if we couldn't get it last year when we were hot and they were not...

Moyes only ever makes forced changes. Osman and Felliani are both walking wounded and not playing to their abilities but we just don't have anybody to come in so I imagine they'll play.

It will be a tough game away to Blackburn, if we win it'll have to ugly. (uglier if we lose)

Whats all this stuff of big sam slating our timmy, what a load of b0llocks, Id like to see a few videos of this so called man before ball..

As for tonight, I think Moyes should bring on king louis tonight for the last 30 mins and keep it tight up to then, we should try and nip it in the bud towards the end for another healthy 3 points.

He might play jo up front with a supporting role from the cheat tim cahill ..:P, anchored by the terribly abusive fellaini and worlds most hate phil neville.....

the rest of the midfield will prob consist of osman, gosling, pinnear.

Yeah, I'd say it'll be Jo and Cahill up front, Gosling and pienaar in the centre are certs, Neville will probably drop to right back and ossie and felly will play with injections.

Not a chance of Pienaar playing in the middle.

sorry, midfield I meant, it'll be ossie and felly in the middle I'd guess, with Danny and Stevie wide

A good result tonight to set us up for the cup game on sunday. Cahill and jo to score :D:D

See baxter signs a contract today. The future is looking good with rodwell, gosling and now baxter signing. We have some great young talent coming through.

Not a good result tonight. we need to win those games. The gap to arsenal has increased now...

But the gap to Villa has decreased and in fairness it's Villa we should have our eye on as Arsenal look to have found their form again.

It could have decreased by 2 points more! Villa are very catchable as are Arsenal. We are just making it harder on ourselves by dropping 2 points against the likes of Blackburn.

With west ham winning as well, it means they are closer on our tail, so no, I don't share your optimism about tonight's result...

Agree with Third Echelon tbh, we should be winning those games. Of course a draw is better then a lose but with Villa losing which would of been a expected win game for them we really needed to win

We were by far the better passers of the ball but we just couldnt get on it enough, partly because Jo could not for his life hold up the ball, everything seemed to just bounce off him. Saha made some difference. Would love to see him start on Sunday, nice trip to Wembley.
Next 3 league games are Stoke (h) Pompey (a) Wigan (h) 7 points at least is well attainable, just glaringly obvious how badly we miss Mikel.

If we had mikel would would have won this 1-0

Villas bubble is bursting, i think its them we should challenge as Arsenal will finish well above both Villa and Everton IMO.

I'm not happy with the result but I'm far from surprised either. We have no strikers or creative midfielders so we rely on set pieces to score with timmy et al. If we are not running the ball in dangerous positions, we don't get frees or corners and even if we do get a set piece, its often down to the luck of the bounce whether you score or not. Meanwhile, our backs are as stable as ever hence 0-0 yesterday, much like at Newcastle on saturday. Its is a result we should probably get used to I'm afraid.

The final ten games I think are doomed to disappointment. Our squad is in ribbons and its finally caught up with us. We won't catch Villa excepting a complete self destruction, I don't see how we'll beat them at the villa park. Besides all that, Arsenal have recovered from their slump it seems, if anybody pips Villa to the last CL spot, its them.

Arteta's absence bodes ill for next season too.

    Hopefully I'm wrong.

I actually think bringing yobo back into the back line in the centre is 'upsetting' things a little...

ok, we don't have a right back at the moment, but for god sake just bring back phil neville. It's easier to plug a gap in midfield than it is in the back line...

Neville only performs well in midfield with Arteta beside him. Neville grafts, Arteta dictates and masters.... Without Arteta, we might as well have a proper full back at right back than playing Jags out of position.

Only saw the highlights last night, but we had chances to win that game. 2 draws in a row against Newcastle and Blackburn ain't going to get us 4th spot...

Great to see pienaar back last night. Definitely our best player at the moment with regards to creativity and it showed. Had a couple of nice chances. Good goalkeeping kept him out. Baines and Pienaar have had a lot of joy down the left when they have been playing together. They work well. We need to match that on the right.... Call me a fool, but I think Shandy Van Der Meyde on the right wing is the answer at the moment... Its not as though he is tired from playing a lot of games. Give him his chance to run his socks off for 10 games.

There is a better chance of the global recession ending at the weekend that shandy starting for Everton, but I like the idea also.

In the middle we are really fooked up now. Theres no escapin the taste!

I think our best team at the moment is as follows...

    Howard

    Neville ---- Jags ---- Lescott --- Baines

Shandy VDM --- Felliani -- Rodwell - Pienaar

    Cahill

    Jo/Saha

Also Gosling getting a shout for the centre mid position depending on Felliani's fitness... though Moyes probably wont move Neville... But if I was in charge this is what I would do.

What are you talking about, your results against us are less than awe inspiring. We had a bad manager this year and we still managed to beat you at home.
We have been up there in the top half of the table for the last couple of seasons. Our two games previous to last night showed that we are back. We were robbed at Old Trafford and beat Hull away. We have one league loss since mid december when Big Sam joined us. You are getting a bit carried away thinking you should be taking maximum points from Ewood Park.

Its all about the here and now. You're in the relegation positions. We are in 6th spot and therefore should be beating teams like Blackburn. I don't see how you could be offended by this statement. Facts back up my statement.

You beat us in the first game of the season. Everton had a bad start to the season, so I wouldn't read much into your win at Goodison.

Yeah, you say the here and now, I pointed out that we have one league loss since mid December and apart from getting robbed at Old Trafford. So on current form there is no way you should be expecting to beat us.

Villa beat you as well last month 2-0 did they not? Forget about that one?

So our form doesn't matter then?

Ours is better.... We should have won it... plain and simple.

Wow amazing, you quoted me before my edit and posted the reply after my edit. Long time to type a few words. And even at that its not the form of a team you can expect to take three points off.

Our bad start of the season being from Aug to circa Dec...

What's your point? It's called looking for facts to back up arguments... and also I was talking to someone at the same time..

Blows your point out of the water... Your reply here backs that up as well..

    Have a nice day ;)

As long as you finally see sense and understand that you should not be expecting to beat us at home on our current form thats fine.

But that would be inaccurate and not true, therefore I could not agree to that...

Do you not see that if our form is better than yours, then we should beat you? What is difficult about that to grasp?

    http://www.premierleague.com/page/FormGuide

    Last 6 games.

    Blackburn 6 points.
    Everton 9 points.
