    What about something like this?...
    http://www.rap4.com/paintball/os/thunder-grenade-charger-with-regulator-p-1868.html

The small 12g cartridges would be handy enough. I know it's not as kick ass as the grenade thing but its better then carrying a full can of gas around with you.

Would Co2 be suitable for airsoft grenades and pistols?
Or even with the regulator would it not be suitable to refill our gas powered bits and bobs?

That's pretty much the same as the Madbull XC03. It's designed for grenades, not pistols, and even then, only certain grenades can take CO2 (I think Madbull are the only makers in airsoft actually).
CO2 will work in certain pistols, but not using that. You have to use 8g amplets in a special magazine. KJ do one such mag for their M9 which works rather well in the stock pistol if Docs is anything to go by.

I feel bad that your laptop was fecked, but I find it hilarious that your response was to open up the cd drive and snap the tray off.

    Seagal would be proud.

Utter LOL. "It does not work, I will beat it and break bits off until it agrees to work again!"

There's a pattern emerging with this chap... It would make a good series of comedy sketches methinks.

rofl., well, it wasn't ment to be a solution., what was happening was, this bleedin virus thingy fecked up me google and i kept getting weird results in searches, then it kept randomly popping out the cd draw and that was gettin on my nerves, so i snapped and Karate chopped it off, then said, "aww bollix, now i cant reinstall the OS to get rid of the virus".,

Tonyj, I dont think i can use one of them since its for re doing the OS so it wont recognise the USB sockets when its all cleared? admittedly i know very little bout this stuff but thats what i thought would be the case.,

Ahh! that looks like what i need., except it seems to be out of stock., nice one man., if ya have any more links like that, well appreciated., :)

I can honestly see you doing that. However, my first impression of what happened when I read the post was you remaining perfectly calm, opening the cd drive, snapping the tray right off and dropping it into a bin in a kind of "if you continue to defy me, you'll lose another important component every 5 minutes" intimidation tactic.

You actually do threaten your computer don't you...

You might be right, is this the laptop spec sheets
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00444244/c00444244.pdf?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

If so page 127 shows the optical drives you can use.

DV1000 should be able to boot from a USB device so an external CD drive should work failing that you could pop the HDD throw it into another machine and install an OS that way.

It might work if ya make sure the iso file is in the hdd root not directory, but some bios's dont have a boot from exernal option.

Neither method would require an iso, most HPs do tend to have fairly nuetered BIOSs but I don't think ive seen one that wont boot from an external device well nothing that was made in the last few years at least :D

Hey Richie first off I've been laughing my hole off for the past 10 minutes, as it's exactly what I would of done :D:D:D.

I often get in arguments with my computers and I have completely punched in the front plastic paneling on one of them. (Took me ages to fix that mess :p).

Since you've done me such a great deal on the SPR, if you want I will repair your laptop at cost price. If you want I'll reinstall your OS, etc as well. Please drop me a PM about it.

Wonder how many people felt like that when dragging twisted, broken, duct tape wrapped DIY catastrophies in to eirsoft :D

If you like and I have some free time soon I can drop out to the store and take a look at it or send some gear out with everybodies favorite cave troll if he is heading out soon.

Don't be silly. No-one can know everything any more, the world's far too complicated these days. Besides, you're the go-to guy when an AEG needs fixing.
