A bit late to post about it especially as it is about to finish in a few minutes but should be available somewhere!!

It is talking about the history of photography between 1918-1945.

On a little philosophical note - I think that photography in peace is more challenging. We have to work harder to come up with good pictures.

The Genius of Photography was on already on BBC4 I remember watching it. Good series would definitly recommend watching it. I enjoyed it myself.
