Stuck on setting up Google Apps for a friend - hosting company control panel setup

I'm helping a friend get started with Google Apps, and I don't know that much about setting up hosting etc (i.e. when something unexpected happens, I'm lost!)

Someone has set up a hosting 365 account for her and also registered the domain name - but in the Control Panel, there are no domains listed, so what I'm looking for help with is that small step.

The DNS work seems to be done:

    domain: <private>
    descr:
    descr: Body Corporate (Ltd,PLC,Company)
    descr: Corporate Name
    admin-c: -IEDR
    tech-c: -IEDR
    renewal: -August-2018
    status: Active
    nserver: ns2.hosting365.ie
    nserver: ns3.hosting365.ie
    nserver: ns1.hosting365.ie
    source: IEDR

    person:
    nic-hdl: IEDR
    source: IEDR

    person: Hosting 365 Hostmaster
    nic-hdl: HH36-IEDR
    source: IEDR

Do you know how to add the domain to the control panel?

When I try to go Add New Domain, it tells me that
    Failed to add Domain <private>
    Zone <private> has been taken.

Looks like it's already setup somewhere - but I'm not really sure how to sort it out?

When I try and browse to the web address, I just get the login for the control panel and I'm back in the control panel with no associated domain.

Once that's done, I can sort out the ownership verification and MX things for G Apps no prob - but any pointers on what to do at this stage, please?

    thanks for any help
