I was listening to the news on RTE radio 1 and I heard the crime correspondent Paul Reynolds refer three times to a place called Fizzburra. Any idea where it is?

I wrote to RTE and got the following reply
    Thanks for the mail,

Not having heard the news report I can only presume that the reporter meant Phibsborough, or Phibsboro whichever you prefer, so I have passed your mail on to Doireann Ni Bhrian who is responsible for RTÉ's pronunciation guide for her information.

Well I think the OP was making a point that as RTE is the National Broadcaster, their correspondants shouldn't be layering on a thick 'Montrose' accent. These placenames have a correct pronunciation and if RTE can't get it right then what chance do the rest of us have ?
