Xbox 360 - Universal Media Remote

    I just ordered an XBox 360 Premium, mainly to use as a media centre (I'm sure I'll play the odd game or two on it!)

    I just want to check - the Universal Media Remote does not come as standard with it? If not, do you know where the cheapest price for one is?

    No, the remote controller is extra.

    You should go for original xbox if you're planning to use it as media centre.

    I know that the original one is quite good if you install XBMC, but it doesn't do high-def plus doesn't work out of the box.

    thats right, but despite the lack of hd support is perfect.

    as for remote control try ebay or dealextreme.com

    I got the big one & the mini version both in Gamestop second hand. The big one was 20 quid and the little one 10, pretty decent price for them anyway!
