This Irish sequel to Snakes on a Plane will be shown as the surprise film in the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.

It stars Colm Meaney and Colin Farrell as an intellectually challenged father and son team who attempt to make it in the cut-throat world of bus driving. Hilarity ensues when Colin falls for the new Latvian driver on a competitor's route.

That don't sound half bad actually.
    I'd watch it.

Any particular sorts that get on your nerves?
    Allsorts, the all liquorice ones.

Listening to other peoples choice of music is most irritating. I've noticed that there seems to be a direct corrolation between "Volume played" and "Musical Taste". The louder it's being played, the more diabolocial the music seems to be. I mean, when's the last time you had to take a sissors to the headphone cable of someone playing Tchaikovsky or The Gotan Project?

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I remember on a corwded bus this gang of about 8 scanger girls running around the bus writing and spraypainting "tags" everywhere.I think what annoyed me more than anything was nobody else seemed to mind.
I rmonstrated with them and teh conversation evolved along predictable lines "its **** all to do with you".."this isnt you're bus" etc etc.
Telling them that the bus would be withdrawn because it would have to be cleaned and that would deprive elderly people of transport didnt seem to cut any ice with them so i lost it:"Ya bunch of ****in scum.Did nobody ever teach ya ****in respect for other people's property? You ****in low-life scumbags yas.People have to clean that shiit off and nobody wants to look at yer poxy tags.think yas are ****in gangsters do yas?****in gangsters me ****in hole.Bunch of ****in dogs.If i had a thousand pricks i wouldnt give yas one.Scumbags!"
That shut them up and they slunk off the bus at the next stop although one of them gave me the finger once she'd gotten off.
    Assholes.

One weird thing I've noticed is people writing stupid stuff on the windows when they're steamed up. I had some fairly old guy, probably in his 60s, sitting at the very top of the bus one busy morning. Bus was packed. He bent forward and wrote "Tiocfaidh ar La!" on the window for no reason at all. And on another day, some 4 foot tall scumbag from my school walked around a packed bus upstairs writing "James is gay" or something to that effect over and over.

That and I've had scumbags down the back of a packed bus with a pellet gun, shooting at the window at the front with pellets bouncing back off the window hitting people. Of course nobody did anything.

The inescapable proximity with poor and foreign people.

Makes me sick even thinking about it.

There's always something, 1 thing, that ruins every single bus journey. The amount thoughtless, horrible **** and vermin children out there doesn't bear thinking about. The people who think they are the first people to ever listen to music are particularly annoying.

    Oh, and....
That prick that took my seat when I stood up to give it* to an elderly lady (*by 'it' I mean the seat, not actually 'give it to her')
And, people who sit beside me on a full bus, and, when the bus empties, stay sitting beside

If that happened to me, I would stay sitting in the seat too - it seems kind of rude to get up.

I once shared a bus with a woman who spent a large percentage of her journey on the phone. She was very loud. So loud that I took out my phone to record her because I knew that later, when I retold the story, no-one would believe how loud she was being. Of course she then decides that she no longer wants to share her conversation with the entire bus and hung up.

I'll be perusing this thread to see if anyone replies with "I was on a bus one day, minding my own business, talking to someone on the phone and this crazy bitch takes out her phone and tries to record me! Freak!"

    The conversation was in French.

upstairs on a packed 25a home one evening. bunch of kids from down the back proceed to lean over everybody and close all the windows. no-one says anything as usual. lack of manners enrages me so i open the window next to me again. girl comes back over to close it immediately. i open it, saying nothing. she closes it and says her brother is cold. i tell him to put on a jacket. open and closing game continues a few more times. still no-one says anything. seething grows as i tell them to sit down the back and stop climbing over me.
now they gather..dude beside me now steps up and tells them to back off. then the bus comes to a random stop and bus driver runs upstairs and tells them all to sit down and be quiet. they do and the bus moves off.
2 mins later same again and driver tells them to get off so eventually they all move downstairs. 15mins later the bus still hasnt moved off and now the engine has been turned off. so finally some-one gets off their arse to find out. says the driver was assaulted and he wasnt letting them off the bus til the guards came!
so....everyone takes out their phones to make the "f*ck sake* calls.
eventually guards arrive and cart them off and we move on.
no-one challenged them because they werent irish and were too afraid of being accused of anything. now dont get me wrong, if they were a bigger group of kids or were older then I would have just sit down and shut up but they were 7 or 8 years old max and it sickens me that out of 30 odd people, none had the balls to simply just say "excuse me, i'm sitting here"
