Can anyone help with removing the factory radio from a 99 Toyota Corolla?

There are 4 screws holding it in place, and apparently we have to remove the dash face to get to remove them, but can't figure out how to get it off.

I found this pic on another thread...the radio is in the same position as that one

    Thanks for your help

Think there is a rectangular trim surround around the stereo unit?

You have to take out the air vents underneat the radio and loosen screws that are facing up, Then the large outer frame around the radio comes out....Done it myself...Can be tricky.

was just going to say the same...its a bit tricky but not that difficult

When I was replacing our one years ago, I went into a Toyota dealership and the guy in service explained the whole process to me
