    Hi guys,

I am new to streaming video around the house, I see they have the Zyxel DMA-1000 on Komplett for very good value.

    has anyone used it?

what is the video quality like?

I have my house flooded with Cat 6 cable so I have set up gigabit ethernet.
I am setting my pc up as a server with a USB hard drive. The videos on the harddrive are NTFS format.
Will they stream over the network ok?
What are the does and don'ts when setting this kind of thing up

    Thanks in advance.

I'm moving this from HE General over to the PC side of the house, some of the people there might be able to give you a steer.

Haven't seen one myself, though they have gotten good reviews. Try YouTube for some reviews.

I notice there seems to be a new model available, the Zyxel DMA-1100; perhaps the DMA-1000 is now an older model?
