Dont google it.
Seriously. Just dont.
Hey Doc, with most idiots, when you tell them not to do something on the internet, they'll do the opposite... Sadly, I was one of those idiots! :(

My first (and only) foray into rotten.com involved a picture of some Iraqi civilian after he'd been shot in the head.

Only the bullet was obviously of the exploding type.

I nearly vomited and couldn't get rid of the image for days

A burn victim. It was an elderly woman who had fallen asleep while smoking. All that were left were the legs (complete with old woman slippers) from the mid thigh down they were fine, a little charred bone sticking out. All the ashes of the upper areas had accumulated on top of the pelvic bone which wasn't burned totally to ash.. I remember thinking that it was funny that the TV was wobby as it was melted from the fire.

Another more funny one was the guy that was burned to death and there was a pile of cigarette ends about 3 feet high beside him. The firefighters found an ashtray under it would you belive...

According to one of the google links, the guy died of internal bleeding and a ruptured colon.

Sounds painful.

Last year, for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to look at the video of muslim extremists behead that English contractor they captured. Needless to say, I am still very much scarred by the experience. I can't even watch a regular horror movie without thinking about it. Curse the internet and it's vile content!

WARNING, LINK LEADS TO A WARNING WHICH LEADS TO THE SICKEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN.

http://www.youtube.com/verify_age?&next_url=/watch%3Fv%3DgTNgcv2Hsd4

Unwatchable pus video. A guy with a probably life-threatening staph infection in his chest wall is more interested in being a YouTube exhibitionist than in getting cured, and does unspeakable things.

From the Mr Hands wiki entry
Prosecutors later determined that the horse, an Arabian stallion, which had apparently engaged regularly in penetrative sex acts of this kind, had not been injured by being allowed to engage in sex in this manner.

Well, I guess that makes it all right then :(

Watched a few seconds of it. I figured it being on YT it couldn't be all that bad.
I was wrong.

I fcuking hate you. I hope bad things happen to you. I hope you cough up bile through your nose on a really nice day and you get an aneurism from fapping too hard in the shower one day, and then you wont be able to fap for a week cos every time you do it will give you a skull shattering headache. I hope you come back from the bathroom to find out your cat has pissed in your cereal.

Not the most gruesome thing for me, but the most recent.

Its the small things that can bug you for ages, it doesn't have to be a big event.

I passed two magpies (just out of reach), between Upper Mount Street and Baggot Street, down by the ESB building, very delicately eating a baby pigeon alive. They had more or less perched on its back and were busy pulling strings of flesh off, bone was visible, pigeon was alive, looking around, in a slightly thick, vacant, gormless manner.

Lunch wasn't big on my list that day, or tea for that matter, pigeon flashback..

Yeah, 1guy1jar is a bad one alright.

Most gruesome thing I've seen was of course on the net.
Seen a terrible one recently of some poor bloke brutally murdered with a screwdriver and hammer by 3 Ukrainen lads around 19/20 years old.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dnepropetrovsk_maniacs

Igor Suprunyuck, Viktor Sayenko and Alexander Hanzha from Dnepropetrovsk in the Ukraine

The video I seen, they murder some random bloke they targeted.....really, is one of the most hauting things I think I will ever likey too see....and I've seen some real messed up shít on the net. Jesus, I get chills thinking about it now.
The fact that Yatzenko's murder was captured on video was unknown to the public until a court session on October 29, 2008. The unedited video of the murder was shown as part of a large presentation by the prosecution, causing shock in the audience. The court agreed with the prosecution that the video was genuine, that it showed Igor Suprunyuck attacking the victim, and that Viktor Sayenko was the man behind the camera. The video showing the murder of Sergei Yatzenko was leaked to a shock site on the Internet at some point in early December 2008

Summary of vid
At least one full video was leaked to the internet, showing the murder of 48-year-old Sergei Yatzenko. He is seen laying prostrate in a wooded area when he is repeatedly struck in the face with a hammer held inside a plastic bag. The murderers then poke out Yatzenko's eyes with a screwdriver, and stab him with the screwdriver elsewhere. Yatzenko is then repeatedly struck with the hammer to ensure he's dead. The brutal attack lasts over 4 minutes, during which the victim lapses in and out of consciousness. The murderers walk back to their car, showing that the crime took place just a few feet away from the side of the road, right next to their parked car. They calmly discuss the murder, expressing mild amazement that the victim was still breathing after a screwdriver was plunged into his exposed brain. The suspects then wash their hands and the hammer in a puddle and with a water bottle, and begin to laugh.

It's out there if you really want to see it but trust me, you will not sleep tonight...and if do, it will be on your mind for weeks to come.
You've been warned.

Mine comes from working in a hospital, but I'm not sure that I can quite convey how horrible it was, or how much it disturbed me.

It was an old man who had obviously (probably due to cancer) had a traciectomy (or however you spell it, it's when they have to make a hole in yer throat - wait for Tallaght01 to explain), which means he had a white pipe in his throat which exited at the front of his neck.

One day the old man had obviously removed the covering, and for one horrible second, while he was talking to me and less than two feet from me, I saw directly inside, into his oesophagus (I think).

And there was a single red strand running vertically up the inside, quivering as he breathed and talked. Just rapidly quivering.

I don't think I've explained why it was so disturbing, I'm not sure I can, but it was. It disturbed me more than any of the dead bodies I've seen.

One of my friends sent me an email about this guy that got bitten on the hand by a spider. There were 7 pics, one for each day following the bite. Day 1 it looked like a really angry mosquito bite, Day two his whole thumb had swelled up.......by day 7 his hand was totally unrecognisable, the skin had split open on his thumb and all down his hand and wrist started to look like it was turning inside out. Of course it was sent on my work email so me and the girls beside me were all practically throwing up in the bin.
