the pic of the happy family looks like a portrait of a brother and sister meeting their baby sister for the first time. Why did the parents feel the need to add more pressure to them by inviting the press?? idiots!

not hugely shocked tbh. i know plenty of peeps who lost their virginity that young, just most were lucky enough not to get knocked up out of it. the fact the 13 year old looks about 8 is just an added bonus for the sensationalist reporters.

loved this bit of the article,

Alfie’s family told only those closest to them for fear he would be “demonised” at school.

they worried about him being demonised at school but sold the story out to national press because he'll be well looked after with them. fcuking morons!!

Lucky this happened in the UK, wouldn't the mother be classed as some sort of Paedo in various parts of the US and be sentenced to a lenghty jail term?

And Dennis(Alfie’s dad), 45, said: “He could have shrugged his shoulders and sat at home on his Playstation. But he has been at the hospital every day.”
Of course he has, kids will do anything to get out of going to school!!

    Meanwhile...
Couple wrongly accused of abuse told they still can't have kids back By Victoria Ward 12/02/2009

    Adoption court snubs parents

A couple whose three children were put into care over dubious abuse claims were yesterday told they cannot have them back.

Mark and Nicky Webster have not seen the youngsters for four years since they were accused of harming one of them. They have now been adopted.

Despite fresh evidence showing the injuries were probably due to iron deficiency, the Court of Appeal yesterday refused the couple's plea to be reunited.

Judges said it was too late because the children - aged nine, seven and five - were now settled with new families.

Lord Justice Wall said: "The Websters believe they have suffered a miscarriage of justice.

    They may be right.

"The court concluded that after three years it was too late to set the adoption orders aside, and that it would not be in the interests of the children to do so."

He added: "If there is a lesson to be learned from the case it is the need to obtain second opinions on injuries to children."

Mark, 35, and Nicky, 27, were told adoption orders were only revoked in "extremely limited" cases.

Lord Justice Wall said it was a "deeply regrettable experience for the local authority" and a "painful learning experience" for the medical profession.

After losing the children in 2005, the couple, of Cromer, Norfolk, fled to Ireland to avoid fourth child Brandon being taken from them at birth. They insisted: "We did no wrong." They later returned and the council dropped attempts to put the boy in care after seeing he was healthy.

Could go the other way too - his classmates might think he's "da ****ing MAN"...
I remember in school whenever a girl got knocked up, there'd be other girls flocking to her like bees to honey to worship her. Hilarious.

Lots and lots of people breaking the law so. A 13-year-old and 15-year-old having sex ain't unusual.

Any dick will do in order to follow the crowd? Wanting to get knocked up?

    poor kids.

also, that story of the court refusing to give kids back is terrible too. I'd be sueing just about everyone right about then.

Been thinking about that since I read it. :(

Also feel for the adoptive parents. Probably waiting ages to adopt, and now this. It's hardly their fault either.

If you watch the film, his voice hasn't even broken. Is it even biologically possible for him to be the father?

I'd be looking for a paternity test if I were him.

Of course its biologically possible. Do you know what age people start puberty? So many girls have gotten pregnant at 13. Its only big news with hima as he looks extremely young for his age.

He doesn't look like he's hit puberty yet.

He'll be 26 with a kid half his age.

    What value?

Apparently not in the interests of the children to go back to their biological parents who did nothing wrong...

They "may" also be right about a miscarriage of justice..

I think voice breaking is often one of the last things to happen. I'm an authority on this subject, as I remember clearly all the good times I had taking the piss out of my brothers when their voices broke. If they slagged me off about anything I'd say 'you sound like a 7 year old girl!!!!' Topic for another thread maybe. Ahhhhh good times hehe!

I knew a guy whose voice only broke when he was 20! It was funny watching peoples reactions when meeting him for the first time.
