they don't make the 305 anymore though :( a shame really cause it was a daycent car. the first car i ever drove an inch in. and nearly crashed it into the side of the house when i was a wee boi. still have it in the shed but the engine's not that great

I was in Buenos Aires about a year ago and at least half of the taxis out there are Peugeot 304's same as the red one in the picture. They have facelifted rear lights but other than that they look the same. Very noisy inside. They kept making them in Argentina 20 years after Europe.

Absolutely lovely car, love the octavia Rs , I think they look class and are one hell of a sleeper!

What bhp do they run standard, thought it was around 180?

06 1.4 Grande Punto sporting. New induction kit and exhaust system. About 120bhp. Pretty modest compared to some of the pics posted by others but I love it :)

The comment wasnt meant to infer that the vrs that wasnt a performance motor. It is the perfomance version of the octavia, that i'm aware of.

Was merely pointing out that it would wipe the floor with alot of what are deemed performance cars.

Fair play, you seem to know your cars anyway.. seen a post of yours up on seatcupra.net with all the part no's etc of the PD 130/150. Fairly impressive stuff. Who does your upgrades was thinking of doing a couple on my 2.0Tdi Altea before it gets sold..

All the mods i bought myself and then i got them fitted afterwards. A friend who is a mechanic in a VW dealership has his own shed with a lift and he gave me a hand, saved a bit of money that way. Most of the stuff i bought for the RS was from JKM in the UK. If they have the part in stock you get it next day via DHL. Very recommended to deal with.
