Has anyone noticed this on Youtube?

The more i look at comments on youtube the more i see people going wayyyyyyyyy over the top with insulting comments, saw one comment on a persons video remembering his dead dog, the comment read "glad your Fa**ot ass dog is dead, its an ugly beast that should have been put out of its misery with a shotgun. your a f**king asshole, go suck a dick"

Why doesnt youtube ban these people, there all over the site, And it seems to be youtube only, god id love to get my hands on the people who say these things, there just so uncalled for!

Wow, thats harsh why would someone say that, the guy may have been asking for it if he posted a video of himself on youtube grieving over his dead dog, that's kind of odd. All the same the person who wrote that comment should be shot

It would be impossible to moderate. It is easy, they can hide behind their computer and hurl abuse. Let us hope that karma bites them in the backside in real life.

Well considering the amount of money youtube generates and the amount of references it gets from numerous TV channels, magazines etc etc and not to forget children to who rely on it as a source for education i think that comments that contain these words should not appear on the site...

Its just a bunch of bullies who sit at a computer thinking they are hard because they are commenting cause they know nothing will happen to them. Its really sad they do that but some people just have no social lives

I dunno how many times iv watched previous news reports on youtube...hence iv learned something, just because you watch a video doesnt mean its not education,there are thousands of videos on youtube, some people use it for alot more than entertainment,less of the smart ass comments!

The Youtube Comment Song is great. Its lyrics are compiled solely from the offensive user comments. Oddly enough, this video was banned from Youtube but the original Youtube Comments song which was all nice and flowery was allowed to stay. Nice censorship! Ban a song compiled of comments that haven't been banned on the site.

Bad idea to ban them, they'd start spreading to other places instead. I'd much rather they were all left to fester in one spot where they are easily ignored by just not scrolling down.

I think its hilarious too, think alot of people just do it to troll on youtube these days. Its also amazing how there isn't a default profanity filter on the site considering how many kids use it. The quotes I selected below from a random Chris Brown video prob won't show up properly here because of the filter but they are there in all their glory on youtube. Very heavy traffic on yer man's stuff at the moment since he got arrested for hitting Rihanna -

vicious, obscene youtube commenting is the only thing i have left when it's 4am and my day/night has gone ****. for example, tonight i had a terrible night of poker so i'm going to and comment on KISS videos with the most inventively disgraceful comments i can muster up.
