    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any advice about this funny which arrived to annoy me today.

When I parked my car (1995 bmw e34 520 with after market alarm which works central locking and flashes indicators when turning on and off) after lunch today I locked the car using the alarm key fob.

When I left work I saw that the right side parking lights (solid indicator lights) were on and battery was dead. I removed the relevent fuse and got it started using jump leads. I drove for 15 mins and indicators etc all worked fine. An hour later I drove for 20 mins and again everything worked fine. When I came out of the shops I then I spotted the right side parking light was on again. This time I tried to cancel it by usual trick of turning the alarm on and off twice but this didn't work so I had to drive the short distance home with the parking light on and neither side of indicators working.

I've replaced the earlier removed fuse but any time I turn on or off the alarm now the parking light comes on and stays on even with the engine running.

I bought the car 3rd hand 2 years ago and not had a problem like this before with it. As a result of it being 3rd hand I have no idea where to look at the alarm or how it was installed.

Any help or suggestions gratefully accepted.
