How to open .rar files

    Hi..I got a set of good images off the net but they are .rar files..How can I open themWhen I double click it, it says Windows cannot open this file.Thanks

    Actually..1 more question..How do I make the file to not be rar after I get that..Im trying to put it onto itunes but it says it does not supprt the file..:(

    Choose the extract option and then your files will be outside the rar file. You can use them like "normal" files then.

    when i try that it say "cannot open as archive" :(

    I'm pretty sure 7-zip supports rar .. but maybe I have mistaken somewhere .. I have a couple of programs installed but I've always picked 7-zip first.

    Have you tried opening / extracting it from within 7-zip?

    It does support opening, just not creating them.

    OP, right-click on the .rar file, choose 7-Zip from the context menu, and then Extract files... or Extract Here or Extract to

    It does support opening, just not creating them.

    OP, right-click on the .rar file, choose 7-Zip from the context menu, and then Extract files... or Extract Here or Extract to

    i use pea zip, works fine with rar files
