How to get degree ° symbol easily

hello my boardsie buddies. Anyone any ideas on a keyboard shortcut to getting the ° degree symbol quickly in excel etc.. I know how to get it in charmap and copy paste but I think there is a keystroke (Alt + 0176) but cannot do it on my laptop. Any ideas?

you should noticed the numpad numbers on those keys.
