Aircoach expanding Greystones Service

    To quote their website:
    Aircoach are very pleased to advise all passengers using our Greystones service that, as part of an ongoing review of the service, we will be introducing extra journeys on this route over the coming months.

    From Friday 6th February 2009 the following additional services will operate:

    From Dublin Airport: 10:00 & 14:00
    From Greystones: 12:00 & 16:00

    This will mean initially that there will be 22 departures a day in each direction as follows:

    Dublin Airport – Greystones:

    00:00, 01:00, 02:00, 04:00, 05:00, 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:30, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:00, 23:00

    Greystones – Dublin Airport:

    00:30, 02:30, 03:30, 04:30, 05:30, 06:30, 07:30, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:30, 19:30, 20:30, 21:30, 22:30, 23:30

    Further updates and enhancements to our Greystones service will be posted in the near future.

    In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you onboard our enhanced service between Greystones and Dublin Airport.

    Looks like it's more a case of filling in the rather inexplicable holes in the previous schedule than expanding it really. Still good news though.

    Now if they could add a few extra stops in Bray as well, that'd be even better.

    well, either that or they are taking a rather jaundiced view of the recent events on the railway line and the likelihood of IE having further disruptions, driving people to alternative transportation.

    Or perhaps Firstgroup`s accountants are trying to close off any further bleed of "their" customer base to our old pal`s at the Patton Flyer.... :)

    Between this and the Bus eireann service i may never use the quickpark ever again.
