    Hey

I'm looking to buy an LCD screen monitor for producing but have no clue as to what to get. In my college here there is a studio with 2 screens for production.

With this double screen can you buy anytwo LCD's or do they have to specifically designed & bought to gether??

    Cheers

Any two screens will work fine as long as you have a dual head graphics card.

Yeah, any two but a pair would look better! Screens are real cheap now compaired to back in the day. My first 15" LCD cost £850!!!!

There's a really nice NEC 22" screen in the window of Right Click on Camden street in Dublin at the moment. Just under €250, I bet you'd get a decent price if you were looking for two. Then again You could probably pick up a second hand one for next to nothing!!!

Anyway it really depends on the program you are running as to whether two screens are useful or not.

Got a couple of the Dabs Value 26" TFT screens.. for €250 a piece .. can't go wrong.. a year of solid daily use and not a problem

In case you go mad and get 3/4 screens - make sure you get the same GPU on both the graphics cards :)

It's to do with the way your OS addresses the drivers... - i don't know finite stuff about it - but a google search soon warned me BEFORE the event :) - strange, no hindsight needed!
