    got cod:waw for the xbox 360 yesterday.

    COD 4 is my absolute favourite game ever (i never really liked fps to be honest).

    WAW is already boring the crap out of me. Even though it's the same engine as CoD4, it just seems like a sort of cheap knock off. The sounds are plain terrible, and the added gore is completely pointless.

    Tried the multiplayer and was even more dissappointed.

    I dunno, I just haven't been engaged by this COD at all.

    Still hopelessly addicted to WAW War Mode, but I have noticed that the Kar98k appears to be rubbish in this game - unless it was a custom server thing? Out of about 50 hits, only 2 of them killed outright - the rest required a second hit! So incredibly frustrating, and makes using the Kar stupid if it requires a 2nd shot to kill.

    Using the Browning M1919 a lot. Savage weapon.

    I get 1 shot kills with the Kar98K most of the time, unless they have jugger/laststand or I hit them in the limb or something.
    Im using stopping power and deep impact with the gun, maybe this is your problem with the gun?

    COD4 glitches were believable you could get on a few roofs of building outside the occasional map and whatnot. COD:WAW Getting under maps on top of maps, Not great network wise, Juggernaut is way to overused only because they overpowered the MP40 way too much which allows it. That really wrecks my head. After all that i think its a good game though. As for the Kar98. Its great.

    One shot kill everytime for me unless jug, last or limb hit.
    If your using a bolt action you really need to get used to one shot hits in the chest/head everytime.

    kar98 with Bandolier, Stopping Power, Extreme Conditioning:cool:

    Good for opening up a can of whoopass

    I like the Kar98 with Stopping Power and Deep Impact-pure lethal. Bouncing Bettys, Frag, & tabun gas. That works great at Seelow, Outskirts, Castle, & Airfield. For the Hanger I use the STG44 with a scope & the same perks. At the Dome and Asylum I pull out my shottie like Jon Gotty.

    Overall I think the COD4 multiplayer boards are better and its weapons cooler. WAW feels a bit cartoonish to me. But I still like it, its a nice filler until the next Infinity Ward game

    The Kar98 is a one shot kill with stopping power, but if you're not using stopping power, it's not, even if you get a chest shot - totally ridiculous in my opinion.
