    Hello

Ive got Setanta on my Sky box - and I live in Dundalk , and I can see any games that come on the channel Sentanta Ireland (418) - its says its only available in Ireland - fine.

My brother in law also has Sky , but lives in Newry - and has the British setup on his box - he also pays for Setanta - and has the channel 418 on his channel list - but any time games come on it - it says its not available. This also happens on RTE2 during the Permiership highlights and Champs League games.

    Any Ideas ?

UK subscribers are blocked from viewing Saturday 3pm live games due to UK laws. These games usually go out on 418.

In the UK the BBC has rights to Premiership highlights and someone else has rights to Champions League highlights

Only way I know of around this is technically illegal, but you need a ROI subscription and use the Irish card 'up north'. It'll reorder the the channels on the EPG, replace UTV with TV3, loose Five and BBC 3/4 etc. But unfettered access to ROI sports. From a northern perspective now though it makes Sky crazy expensive, Sterling/Euro exchange used to make slightly cheaper than a UK sub! Those days seem to be gone now.
