This crowd rent decent bikes to their guests anyway, maybe worth a call...

Sorry SportBilly2008 to hijack your thread....

Does anyone know of a place I can rent a road bike to do a Tri in Michigan over the summer?
Going over to the States for a bit of a break and would love to be able to fit this in, a bike to get me around the course would be fine, doesn't have to be fast.

    http://www.planet-bikes.de/radvermietung.htm

This is a German guy called Roland that I've used the last 3 year's winter trips I've done to Lanzarote and am using again when I head over on Thursday week. He will deliver early morning to wherever you're based on the island and I've found him (and the bikes) very reliable.

If you don't want to decipher the German booking form you can just drop him an email - roland@planet-bikes.de - specifying what type of bike and size frame, and he normally replies within a couple of days.

I've brought my own bikes a few times but find it a lot of hassle TBH.

    no affiliation with this business!
