    Hello,
If I buy air tickets from a qoute on qoute low fare carrier on the net with VISA do I get my money back if they go broke. Or would I be better to go to a travel agent.

Its not Leary Air but I'll be spending upto €800 so do not want to loose that much.

    Is there a European law?

As far as I can remember if the airline was to go belly up you can do a chargeback on your credit card. Assuming you have paid in full by credit card (not just a deposit).

You would not have the same cover if you paid with a debit (laser) card.
