Removal of the centre console in new Kia pro ceed???

Ok major help needed. I bought a Bury car kit and took it to a guy to intall it. However he couldn't figure out how to remove the centre console as to get into the radio etc and didn't want to ruin the dash. Please please help. It's a 09 Kia proceed.
