So having a flick around the music channels tonight and i stop on a song that make me quiver and remember back to my teen years...

God I remember that, I have a load of things like that on my mp3 (better not say). That beat though...there is something sadly nostalgic about songs with that particular bass drum sound. Robert Miles comes to mind, always makes me sad.....

Was 90's dance always sad or is it just the memories now?

Just remembered one that came on in the car a few days ago, I think it was you're not alone, cant remember the artist

Not sure of the year but Technotronic were big in the mid to late eighties, that was a medley of their stuff, could've been released around that time alright.

Just when we're on the subject, can anyone remember the name of that song that was out in either '89 or '90 where a woman comes on halfway through it making orgasmic sounds? The beat slows down during this part. Nobody seems to know it except me:o.

That brings me back to when I was first with my oh. I remember us going for spins in the car, the sun beaming down and that song on the radio.

No actually that's not it. It had a really loud throbbing beat, very suggestive. I remember the dj playing this regularly in the 1990s, around the time Erasure's Blue Savannah and Heart's All i wanna do used to be played. The beat gets louder and louder and slows down, then this woman's voice starts moaning, louder and louder. Haven't heard it since

Anyone in their 30's remember the free gigs in HMV and Jervis park? Lot of good Irish bands knocking about back then...
