EU maps for Sony NAV U50?

Where is the best place to get maps for the EU for a Sony NAV U50? I am completely new to GPS, my mate has one and wants it for France in particular, it came with UK and Ireland on it. Any links to guides or other threads would be appreciated. Cheers

Updated European Map Package for the NV-U50 are available on the Sony website (url below).
