If he finds it hard to commit to counselling he could try CONNECT - the national counselling helpline. It's a freephone number he can call between 6 and 10pm for adults who were abused as children, and it's staffed by trained counsellors. 1800 235235. It might be easier cos he can call when he likes.

Not meaning to have a go but if your brother reluctantly confided in you about something this serious I think you should post unregistered. There's an awful lot of people on boards & someone might identify you/him from your other posts
