€720 to Thailand, vs. €69 to Dusseldorf?

18 hours of travel vs. 1 hour 20 mins?

While the Brothers (and no doubt the Nocturnal heads) love their beer, I am not so sure they would go that far for a weekend.

    :)

For €720, I could fly to my folks home, and drink my Old Man's beers.

Love doing that, as it irritates him. But, I the last time I did that was about 4 years ago.

    * leaves to search the internet for cheap plane tickets *

I could go with that. :)

Now you know where I grew up.

There is a small brewery there that makes a good beer - I know - I used to work there. :D

Never saw much else other than Castle or Windhoek when I was there unfortunately.

Epic beers with loads of ladyboys around could turn nasty. ;)

Thailand is a lot lot closer to me than Dusseldorf, plus I can get cheap flights from Aus.

I say we do it. You know you want to!

Both good beers in their own way.

Castle's not bad on a hot day, was less keen on Windhoek.

Actually I forgot about Mitchells, I had Forester's in a few places. Tasty stuff it was too. They have a pub at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, iirc.

    Windhoek is very hoppy.
It was a bit of a yuppie beer in the late 90's.

    They do indeed. :D
I remember Friday afternoons when we had to check the quality of each of their brews which they had to send to us. :D
That was one of the things that I did enjoy about that job. :D

isn't there something like 15,000 barsses in Pattya, of which 10,000 were born with the full meet and two veg?

Good place though, only place I have been where fat europeans play golf all day, shag ladyboys all night and drink copious amounts of redbull to keep themselves going.

    I wasn't one btw:D
