Shoes for larger feet

Why is it impossible to get pretty shoes in larger sizes? I'm size 42 and am fed up of the clogs that are out there for big feet - even grannies wouldn't wear them!!! I also have quite thin feet and most of the larger shoes are very wide. Where can I get feminine shoes that don't cost the earth?

Barratts do a size 9 in some shoes and even a size 10.
