I've got a 3 year old boxer dog at home, don't really play sports but I have one out door hobby which I haven't had much time to get out and do recently because of work, starting again though :)

Ok, great. But do your interests or past times fit a sterio type that you don't comform to?.

I play GAA football, soccer and recently jogging/cycling, I write poetry, I sing and play the guitar (recently put some videos on Youtube), sometimes play video-games and I'm getting into photography.

Sometimes I'm a loner, sometimes I need to be the centre of attention, sometimes I just need to be near a group of people/friends/family.

I think I'm a more-balanced person now than I was at any other point in my 20 years, probably because I have so many varied interests.

I'm a vaguely eccentric retiring English country gent with Olympic aspirations, going on my brief profile. :p

I have a lop-earred rabbit. She is very cute but when she is annoyed, she kicks her *beep* all over my floor...
I love reading and video gaming, but I only play games online with friends, not to strangers...
Used to swim and walk. But my sports now involves getting off the couch, going into the kitchen and putting the kettle on for a cup of tea...
    I think I m a hermit...:o

I've blonde hair and big boobs and look like a complete girly-girl.

I've three Boxers at home, I read Stephen King obsessively and Terminator 2 is my favourite film. I also think chick-lit/flicks should be banned under penalty of death.

ETA: Oh yeah, I have a snake too, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa

i have a rottweiler/labrador cross dog who i treat like my child

    http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e139/greatunderscoreofdoom/morty2.jpg

but he's big and people think he's scary

i'm 6'2" and weigh just under 17 stone and i weight train as well so i'm sure that people see me walking him and think stereotypical things but thats their issue im as nice as pie

i aslo play airsoft but i'm not sure its around long enough to havea stereotype

i like motobikes and have a mint '92 gsxr 750L last of the good air cooled ones so thats a hobby but i also like books and cahtting with strangers on the net

i think that many stereotyps are a product of fear and i find that most peopele give what they get poeple are nice

the one thing i will say is that people are nicer to me in real life than on boards but i believe that the web lets people vent and that you have to make allowances

I have a corn snake, I used to have a bearded dragon but it died :( I want a dog but I have no room for it at the moment. When I move into a bigger place I might get one. But one from a shelter :) I would like a cat too, but not 100% sure about that one just yet ;)

I love shooting, hunting mainly. I was in the reserves for about 5-6 years. I don't play any sports due to a pretty bad injury I got when I was playing lots of sports :) I go to the gym occasionaly. I also play a lot of games and watch a lot of DVD's and new films at the cinema. In season, I tend to go fishing on our boat and sometimes I fish in rivers. Not one for going out anymore. Rather have a few drinks at home with some mates. Some might see this as a hobby, but I love cooking, I love experimenting with foods and all that :)

I would like to do some sports and classes but I am afraid of the "he must be gay if he's into that". :P

This is Pat. Ive had him nearly 3 years now and love him to bits. Hes vain, self centered and very fussy about his food. Kinda like me. Cooking would be my number one hobby without doubt.

I run (see above mentioned hobby:)) and walk and thats about it unless Im making up numbers for a team. Even then its just usually a pub quiz. Theres one in the local pub every week. Its gets fiercely compeditive between locals and blow ins. They hate it when we win! :pac:

Ah - completly missed the question - so I guess I conform to the blonde stereotype!

No is the answer. What you see and the assumptions you make are probably right. Although I did have short hair one time and theough I looked dykey. Does that count? (Im straight)

Well people would consider me a nerd for having a huge interest in PC games and reading fantasy novels, that can be pretty annoying alright. I don't feel i conform to that stereotype at all, the lack of friends and the typical "nerd" look that a lot "average" people would associate with those pastimes/interests.

Yeah, sure we all gotta keep busy.

I'm a drummer , guitarist , songwriter, generally just good with music. I do weight lifting aswell once or twice a week, used to do kickboxing but don't have the time at the moment. Have one dog aswell she never stops eating but we love her anyway... Got two lizards a bearded dragon and a water dragon...

Then the usual football, computers whenever I get a spare second which isn't alot.

Musician meself, play guitar, bass, little bit of drums, harmonica, sitar and a little keyboard. I love recording and mixing tracks and it seems to be all I do outside work.
Most describe me as mentally deficient child and a hippy.

    Most would be right...

Then the PS3 might get a spin later if its lucky.

Recently took up jogging with a number of people with the possibility of a club being setup. Play football once a week and like to read when I can find time to get my daily fix of boards.

And if you do, does it reflect your personality?.

    Me, I train Judo & weight lifting/training.

I've two dogs, a Pitbull and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who I think the world off - I treat them like children and get buddles of joy from them.

To sterio type the above I should be a complete knuckle head, but I'm the biggest softie ever.

Would you sterio type a person based on their past times or interests?.

To me GAA players are tough lads, athletic with great personalities who love to drink and party hard when let lose.

    Soccer players, meh..

Rugby players, tough lads. Genuine and mostly down to earth, kinda 'mens men'.

    Joggers - loners.

    .

Maaaan fcuk the dogs,I have 2 kids and there the best in the world.yeah they do my head in at times ,but FFS the reword of seeing them happy. You can't put a price on that.I used to be like you ,but fcuk that have kids! christmas was legand:)

Do I have a hobby? Hmmm... I like to get involved in certain campaigns/protests that I believe in. Also, I wouldn't so much call it a hobby as I have to study it in college but I do love reading medieval literature very, very much!

I have two pets, a dog who I love more than anything, ever! (he's soooo cute) and my bird, who's just learned how to say his name \o/ :D

At the moment I'm not training in any sports but I did train in a martial art for eight years. I also gave Taekwondo a go (didn't like it at all) and kung fu (which I loved!). After that, I danced for a year, where I (attempted :P) hip hop, latino, breakdance and jazz!

I've no idea what any of the above says about me. I'm quite a tiny person (under 5ft in fact), not at all intimidating/loud etc.. so I suppose the above activities don't reflect my personality in the stereotypical sense.
