i'm packing loads into my car, anything that i realise i dont need i'll just leave in the car until i go home at the weekend, better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it!

hi everyone , i am just home from my last night at work in a bar whooop whoop
but then i just realised that i am at this on monday and i cant sleep its like christmas but with no selection box at the end of my bed:(
i havent bought a thing yet, i will head into belfast and try and get it all at once tomorrow, oh any shopping advice aka an army surplus store

it has a list of things you need, you could get away without the iron somebody else is bound to have one you can use.
I dont know about army surplus, you havent joined the SAS and people who bring in mountains of survival gear may hear a faint sniggering sound following them around wherever they go:D0 -

Good i may just ask to borrow one, i was just looking at irons on argos.com and most are too techno for me some have mood lighting that change colour but i am not sure if it even irons lol
I wasnt planning on buying lots of survival stuff just long black socks for the boots. whould ski socks do the job
oh but from what i hear of hotel garniville bringing a tent and living in it would be nicer than the rooms lol 0 -
wooden hangers, ikea....they do regular wooden hangers and the clamp trouser hangers 50p each, if you wanna get an iron goto tesco or sainsburys or somewhere similar, i got a decent iron for £15 in tescos sale. socks, long sport socks should suffice, if you google helptheagedshop and then search for thermal military sock on their site they do replica "commando socks" for £2 each as opposed to the £6-7 you'll be charged in a surplus shop, be warned however that there is no option to choose the colour you want, i ordered 7 pair but only got 5 pair dark coloured and the other 2 were oatmeal! just gave them to my dad. padlocks and brown tape - B&Q are selling twin packs of tape and combination padlocks for £1 each. selvyt cloths are £2 on ebay (or you could do a trade with griffer2 for an ironing cloth like me! sorry folks i've no more ironing cloths to use as currency) 0
