Computer Applications or Enterprise Computing

    Hey, I'm filling out my CAO atm and I've narrowed it down to 2 these two courses but I dunno which one to pick.
    I have a big interest in general computing, operation systems and I'd like to learn some web design etc but I don't know much(anything) about programing and I only know the basics of flash and dreamweaver, also maths isn't really my forte(A's/B's in ordinary).
    Just wondering if anyone doing either of the courses could help me out and tell me whats on the courses and how much maths & programming is involved! At the moment I'm leaning towards Enterprise Computing cause it looks like less maths is involved! Any help would be appreciated! Cheers. :pac:

    There's the same amount of Maths involved in first year anyway as it's basically the same but with one choice in EC, you do I.T maths in both courses but the other module which uses a lot of Maths is Programming, which you have a choice either to do that or Digital World in EC.

    The two programmes are similar in 1st year 1st semester and then start to differ in 2nd semester of year 1.
    However in year 2 they are very different.
    Basically CA is for a career in software development and EC is for a career in IT management.

    Just another quick question, would I struggle in EC if I havn't done business studies since the JC and I get A's/B's in ordinary maths for LC?

    Nah, you should be okay...hopefully...seens as though I am in EC1 and havent done business studies in 3 years and did ordinary level maths for the leavin...

    That's better than me, I got a C ordinary level and I'm in EC1 after spectacular amounts of failure in CA. Luckily though the maths is a lot easier this year, dunno if that's just EC though or just a general change because the Maths was unbelievably hard for me anyway.
