just wondering if anybody knows how to get rid of the im virus that sends a link to all your friends please help getting fed up

Depends on the particular type and version of virus that you have been infected with, also what operating system are you running, what are the symptoms of your virus

vista, it just sends links to everybody in my phonebook. not sure of exact wording

doesnt work for vista. cleaner.exe says 2000 nd xp only

remove im virus instant messenger with free malwarebytes here http://www.malwarebytes.org/ click the top one and dont forget to update it when it is installed then do a full scan
