Traditional Irish Women?

Where are they? Specifically women under 30?

I'm surrounded by abortion promoting, ultra liberal/feminist misandrists, don't have the slightest concept of chaste or sexual morality if it hit them in the face. Put careers before family and are generally self obsessed, think nothing of cheating and don't have a clue as to what honesty, honour and integrity are.

These women are replusive.

No I don't think all Irish women are this way but I do think around 90% of the specific generation I mentioned are. It seems Irish people are being far too influenced by ideologies and values which have traditionally not been our own.

I'm genuinely wondering do any men and women see what I've mentioned (doubtful)?

Yeah, damn them and their rights to live how they choose, we should have left 'em all chained to the railings and kept all of those legal and social constraints that kept women as second class citizens who were practically the property of their husbands.

See what I did there? You could say the same for the modern Irish man too (well, apart from the feminist/misandrist thing- by the way, the two terms aren't interchangeable.)

Well, some say it's a shame to lose our traditional values. Personally, I'm glad I live in an Ireland that doesn't lock up un-married mother in 'asylums'.

Each to their own, though, and all that. I'm sure there are still women out there that are 'traditional' and if that's how they want to live, then that's their choice.

OP I actually know what you are getting at and don't give a toss if I get lambasted for it. I actually like women with old fashioned values sometimes who are not little ladettes going out getting pissed with their mates every weekend.

Back in the 1960's Germaine Greer the feminist/polemicist urged women to turn their backs on traditional values and go out and make something of themselves. Well guess what? These women may have risen to the top of their chosen professions but in many cases they were left on the shelf, living single lives, too old to bear children and completely bitter and disillusioned.
