    OMFG! Shock! Horror!

We may as well stay away from Club Orange and a few thousand other items on our shelves then....everyday we eat products from/derived from conflict zones throughout the world. But who cares, it's only when it's all media happy the do-gooder's come out in their drones....

And while you're on a such a ridiculous level, maybe you should consider being your great ethical self and boycotting all american products because after all Israel is killing with weapons and aid created under a joint Israeli/American program.

Don't blame the peppers for being Israeli. It's not their fault.

    No kiddin!!

Y'know what always makes me guffaw loudly is how people are taken in by popular cant.

    Like the Palestinian situation.
Like they are totally right and Israel is totally wrong.
When you grow older and mature a bit pal, you will realise that in most situations of conflict and places of turmoil, there are two sides to the argument. TWO SIDES.

So before you forsake your one green pepper a year instead of your Chinese take away (ooh tibet forget about those) go for a nice salad(ooh Dutch tomatoes, aren't they Shell)have maybe a nice pizza(ooh italy are in Afghanistan).. heh heh

Before you starve, cop yourself on and realise that globally we cannot be the moral policemen of the universe, and hey enjoy yourself:D

    Cheers:D:D

I think the problem is, that if the tomatoes that these peppers are beside become governed by a terrorist organisation, break a 6-month cease fire, some innocent tomatoes may be used as [strike]human[/strike] tomato shields for the real bad guys in the conflict, who have effectively manipulated the global newsmedia to have the peepers come off as the bad guys for using force to defend themselves.

Does anyone else not really give a flying fcuk about whats happening out there??

The Jews had it tough for long enough, lets just allow them and their state to go through their rebellious, shouty puberty and they will settle down after that.

Also, Tesco fruit and veg is usually manky.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,816 ✭✭✭✭galwayrush

I'm going to buy extra peppers from Tesco now:cool:
How the **** can anyone have a problem with them? they might even be grown by Palestinians, It's not all anti Jew anti Muslim, Israeli v's Palestine out there, there are quite a few areas where they are actually working together to improve things.

There were actually no green peppers, just one red and 3 yellow

I hear that the tears of Palestinian children make the peppers taste sweeter.... sweet tasty murder.

It doesn't matter about buying these peppers. I hardly think boycotting them is going to end the conflict.

Israel is going to take over the world soon. And I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.

Reminds me of a quote from a Norwegian friend.... The Irish, the only nation on earth to successfully conquer the world without firing a shot.

Don't peppers move through your digestive system like sweetcorn? Ie; relatively unchanged? Have'nt had peppers in a long time but I have defecated recently.
