Sure you can't use any of that as an argument - you just made it up in your brain.

"I'd say Nani thinks he's the man - get rid of him"

    Give me a break

    What an odd post...

United should get rid of Nani, Ronaldo and the poor mans Messi - Tevez. Nani is simply braindead, Ronaldo has his eye on himself and Tevez just runs around a lot. I originally thought Tevez was good but really he is just a workhorse - i hope Argentina realise this too and drop him.

    I agree

Should also get rid of Rio, Vidic, Evra, Rooney and Scholes while they are at it

What I said is true - none of what I highlighted in your previous post has any basis in reality, you fabricated an argument out of absolutely nothing in your brain.

Just a quick note regards Anderson, don't forget he played the olympics this year aswell, and showed ALOT of potential last season.

And was absolutely woeful in them. I watched all Brazil's games bar one I think (thank you time zone) and he was piss poor. Even Lucas looked better.

(Jo was **** too btw before anyone accuses me of City bias)

played with Sporting since 2005 incl games in the CL in 2006, surely thats top flight football?

Nani has played about 100 top flight matches with nearly 20 in Europe....and was bought for a lot of money....he is not some fresh face scamp from the academy

Do I include the Portuguese league as top flight football?

    No no I don't.

So aside from six games for Sporting in the CL, he has had one and half seasons of top flight football. Therefore I believe he has not yet been given enough time to develop and mature.

So people like Deco had no experience in top flight football until they moved to Barca?

Wat about Eusabio? never played top flight football?

ok, lets just agree to disagree.

Seriously you are bring a player from the 60-70's into it. Your really think arguing the merits of league 30-40 years later is a worth while argument.

Apart from his international appearances and European experience no Deco didn't.

I think we will just have to disagree. You consider the Portuguese league is at the top level football, I don't.

its not the best or in the top 2-3, but it is among the top leagues in Europe, yes it is. I'd rate it on a par with the dutch or french league tbh.

and to write of someone with a fair bit of experience in it as having no experience of top football & using that as an excuse for underperformance for 18mths is laughable.

The standard of the Portuguese league is easily high enough for a young player to develop their game in. Arguable as to whether they could reach their full potential in that league, but it certainly can't be discounted in the development of a player. Sure, the English, Italian and Spanish leagues would be a step up, but it is hardly reserve league level.

Na, seeing a Liverpool fan and Man Utd fan e-hugging each other is what sickens me.

Almost as bad as seeing Man Utd fans support Liverpool in the CL final in 05.

Joking about the e-hugging part, not about the CL

If a player can generate 10 pages of conversation on an internet forum not linked with his club, he has got to have something going for him!
