I love Irishweather forecasters

Was in a shop today and caught the weather forecast from a radio station..

There will be highs today of 4 degress...its currently 5 degrees...:D

Ah yes...super stuff!

The weather - - - just about the most unpredictable thing. In fairness to the weather folk it's just an educated guess that they make.

Bit of a minor one - but only in Ireland does Mist or Fog becomes Mister Fog

My favourite one though - back in 2006 around the time of the Ryder cup

I remember on RTE they reported practice sessions being disrupted from "an area of low pressure located in the Atlantic" - completely ignoring the big swirling cloud at the bottom of the picture

Few hours later when they show CBS Nightly News on Sky News the leading story:

"Ryder Cup under threat from Hurricane Gordon"

Slightly off topic but I remember a pretty stupid mistake on sky news. On the streaming headlines at the bottom of the screen it read something like this "suicide bomb attack in Iraq, at least one dead". No ****!!, if there wasn't at least one fatality after a suicide attack then that terrorist should be sacked. It was promptly changed after about 5mins.

Any else get intensly snippy at the antics of that droid Martin King on TV3.

They have good graphics in fairness...but whats with all the shoulder movements an arm swingin from King ??.

And the accent jeeze where did the guy learn to speak ?? Worse even that Ballyers own Dufficer !!!
