    Hi guys,
I have a Vondafone pen 3g dongle here that work's fine on my XP machine, but when I connect it to a Vista laptop it won't work.

It connects fine within the Vodafone software, but within Windows Network I keep getting a "Limited connectivity" icon. I did an ipconfig in DOS and there doesn't seem to be any default gateway assigned, whereas there is in XP

This is the only thing I can find out of the ordinary. Can anyone offer any advise?

Try putting in the default gateway manually?

There's no optino to do this as it appears as a dial-up connection. Allows me to manually enter IP address and DNS but not gateway

You have to go on the Vodafone website and download vista firmware for the Dongle and update it before it will work
