Help needed i am looking for a valuation for a Jardiniere

    hi everyone i have spent the last few weeks looking in books and on the internet for a price for a Doulton & Lambeth jardiniere by eliza simmance i have enclosed some photos any help would be just brill thanks

    It sounds like you have a huge amount of info already !!

    I cant really add too much here, but I tend to see decent Doulton Lambeth wares going surprisingly cheap in Ireland.
    They tend to be picked up by English trade if they are particularly good examples.

    I recall a really nice jug decorated by Charles Noke (another big name along with Simmance) making less than 200 quid in auction here , and was bought by a dealer in the English Midlands who told me that they commonly fetch 3 or 4 times that at auction in the U.K.

    You got a nice object there, enjoy it :)
    As far as a value goes ..... well its only worth the price that somebody is willing to pay for it, so where it is sold will make a difference in my opinion.
    Its a little difficult to gauge the size of the jardinere from the photos.

    Also , unfortunately the trade is in a shambles right now , and people dont appreciate antiques like they used to.
    Cutting a long story short..... its slipping out of fashion.
