The most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me...

    UGH!

    You will not believe what just happened to me, I am so shocked I had to post this thread.

    Every day I buy a smoothie from the SoBo Coffee shop in the Pearse Street train station.

    I got one this morning as usual. I was about 4/5'ths of the way through the smoothie when I got this hair comming out of my mouth. It was about 4 inches long and black. I have long blonde hair.

    Anyway, I told my colleague who said "Oh **** look" and NO LIE I looked at the smoothie and there were THREE more LONG BLACK HAIRS all around the smoothie cup. I used my nail to see if they were on the outside, and they were all down INSIDE the container.

    This has to be one of the most disgusting food experiences I have ever had. I will never ever set foot inside the shop again. I would like to complain to the management of the SoBo chain but couldnt find any info on the net.

    Any advice? I dont really want to have to go back down to the train station as I get on very well with the guy who runs it and I dont like complaining :rolleyes: Ewww....

    id much prefer have a lecture cancelled than 4 thick black hairs in with my smoothie. and who knows how many i have already swallowed. :confused:

    I suspect what you had in your smoothie was horse hair which is used to clean alot of equipment. I had the same problem from the polish bakery when it was on capel street.

    Well maybe it was the smoothie maker's abstract way of appealing to you and letting you know he's interested. That clearly shows a creative side, and we all know chicks dig creative dudes. Also you have to agree, it's more original than being able to play the guitar...

    haha.. i can just imagine sitting in the next cubicle hearing you gag haha... ;)

    On a more serious note though (i know this is AH.. ill keep it quick) you should deffinately complain (whether its cleaning brush hairs or not... still not acceptable) - prolly shoulda snapped a shot with your phone or similar when it happened but your friend is a witness also.. id either be writing them a letter NOW or having a chat with the guy you know to complain.. totally out of order.. im not gonna go into all the complications and situations which coulda happened as a result of the hairs.. but use your imagination!
