I once bumped a thread from 1999. It got locked soon after and I suspect this one will have a similiar fate.

Generally if a thread has gone a year without any posts, then you shouldnt post in it-start a new one instead. This one seems to be going fine now though so by all means carry on.

Waking up complete hangin to the sound of 3 "boyos" trying to rob the van you and your mate had to sleep in the night before. Then wondering if they'll just rob it anyway and take you two off for a nice "Deliverence" breakfast of anal virginity over-easy.

    afew notable "favorites"

waking up to the pain of realizing you've lost a finger nail..no idea how though

walking up in a closed bar the morning after

    and

walking up, still drunk and butt nekkid to 3 girls with cameras asking "who are you and why are you in our room mates bed?"
that was an awfully funny night...I think I need a drink!

Was in Thailand there in June, on Phi Phi island. Went to a bar on the far side of the island. got scuttered. I remember vaguely thinkin i should go home, but next thing i remember im on my bathroom floor climbing up the toilet, covered in blood and sick.

no idea how i got there, all i know is my big toe nail was covered in blood and the nail was hangin off. was really sore until after i landed in oz. jsut getting back to normal now.

apparently some girl had found me in the jungle in the centre of the island lying unconscious on the ground at about 9am and brought me home. thank jaysus for her, else i'd prob still be lyin there now!! :(

I was doing a girlie holiday in Greece with a friend once. We met these Dutch guys who were really serious. One of them had a shirt with an embroidered lion on it on the back. We managed to lose them politely......or so we thought....next morning my friend woke up and the first thing she saw was the embroidered lion hanging on the chair beside her....

Dunno. All i know from me roommate was that he heard a bang on the door that woke him about 10am. When he answered, it was some australian girl and one of the girls from reception holding me up. As soon as they let me in the door, i fell flat on the floor. Me mate threw me into the jacks and left me there til i woke up. Me knees and elbows were grazed to bits and the rest of me legs were covered in little cuts. I reckon i tried to run home, barefoot, and kick a rock, fell over, and decided to jsut go asleep. I think this coz when i woke up on the jacks floor, before i opened my eyes, i remember thinkin "jaysus, i better get up off this ground and go home!". lol, its all in me blog! :p

    :o

Worst things to wake you up when hungover...

A tramp saying 'Fúck off, this is MY spot'

    Hmm lets see...

Being spooned by a gay guy breathing in your ear. Never confused.

Waking up in a doorway in town at dawn and the streets empty.

Waking up in the jax of supermac's with the cleaners telling you to get out.

Waking up in your ex's fathers bed.

Waking up in the stairwell of your apartment building with only your jocks on wondering if anyone passed while you were asleep.

None of these things ever happened to me...just saying...honest...:o

Worst has to be waking up to my 3yr old neice slapping me around and jumping on the bed- and I'm not a morning person at the best of times.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,339 ✭✭✭congo_90

woke up in some random house up near the mountains with some girl and her mate in the bed.. and my kebab half eaten. Dont remember getting there apart from a taxi meter reading 60euro!!

Woke up in a bus shelter on my 18th
woke up in ballsbridge bus station..

waking up to your brothers dog barking at 7am for a piss
waking up to find somebodys arm around youin your own bed, people everywhere and a strange cut on your leg.

going on the tear with some staff and the next morning (late), still majorly drunk, falling asleep on the jax but forgetting to lock the door... yup camera phones....

beign too wrecked to go for a piss, so having to hold it for an hour, unable to go back asleep, until ya finally ya give in and go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭pseudonym1

My ex was a complete bollax to me one night we were out with friends- as fitting punishment thought I'd treat him to all the ring tones on my phone the following morning whilst he was trying to sleep it off!

Then when you finally realise you cant take it any longer you hear your flatmate locking the bathroom door and the shower being turned on

    vomit hangover

loss of memory- you have to live in the knowledge that it will eventually return

in a random house - not knowing where you are, with no money to get home

when you open your bag and realise youve lost your phone/ purse etc.
