    Hi,

Just wanted to ask a quick question. I am thinking of applying for a 4 year evening degree course in uni next year, but am not sure if i could avail of a grant for it. I fit all the necessary criteria except the course requirement as far as I see. It seems to state only full-time courses.

Does anyone have any more information on this? Has anyone had a grant approved for an evening course or had any other type of relief for an evening course?

    Thanks

Very unlikely you'll get a grant. However, you may be entitled to some tax relief on your course feees (depends on the course etc).

Search this form for tax relief and you will find some relevant threads :)

Thanks for the info. Just found out on County Council website that scheme specifies part time and evening courses are not covered :( too expensive to pay the course either will give up the work or will give up the university idea :(
