The situation is, it's 5am (give or take) I'm addicted to cigarettes (20 a dayish) and I've not had one since 10pm :(:(. When do shops open tomorrow?
    (Specifically in Blanch!!!!{schwaar})

If you want you can extend this discussion to the moral implications of shops opening on new years day or something. :)

if this is the kind of will power young people have today for quitting smoking on new years eve, this country is fucked :pac:

Ah but it wasn't necessarily a "New Years Resolution". I just ran out and practicality wouldn't allow me to buy more. Now I'm all nicotene-crazy and drunk

There's a NearBuy on the Clonsilla Road about halfway between Coolmine and Blanchardstown run by non-Irish. I don't know about New Year's but they've been handy in the past for emergency Christmas day purchases.

Local shop here opens at either 8am or 9am; presume most small Centra/Spar type places will be the same.

I'm sure there's a petrol station around that's open right now though.

what about the one down beside the clonsilla train station?

Are ye sure? Or are you just strongly presuming?
