    I prefer a differnt type of chocolate but certain festive times of year it's not the same
    with out a tin of sweeties in the house.

    Quality street do more toffees which are always nice with a cup of tea.

    Roses are gone to shite. No coffee and no truffle? They're dead to me. Even the fact that they got rid of the manky Bournville can't save them this time. Bastards.

    The green triangle in the Quality Street rocks btw.

    And the purple caramel one with the nut in it.

    And the whirly one with the nut in it!

    Jesus Christ, how into chocolate is Tri? She's easily the most animated poster in this thread and has Gene Wilder as her avatar. Try smoking instead or something.

    But for serial, the two are not connected.

    My 2 heroes are John Lennon and Gene Wilder. (full stop intended)

    I do like chocolate. Sure. But it pisses me off when classics are tampered with, such as the coffee cream.

    P.S. David Fat Eggplant - thanks for the tea.:) It makes the shyte selection in the Roses tin almost more palatable.

    Roses are still ok - Caramel Keg and Caramel Velvet are the two nicest. Way nicer than the chewy caramel one.
    I'll eat all of them apart from the ones with nuts.

    Miniature Heroes were comletely ruined - Dreams were the best in there, and they replaced them with bloody Bourneville. :(

    Quality Street - Ick. Enough said

    Celebrations - The best chocolates selection. Galaxy Caramel ftw.

    Was round in a relatives the other day and they had a tin of QS, which I haven't eaten in years, decades even....the selection has been culled to all hell! I was looking for one I used to love, like a kind of peanut brittle called cracknell IIRC...that was the only one I can vividly recall but the list was missing nearly half the selection I remember. Why the hell do companies do that?
    ..and people are saying Roses are worse? Feckin' hell...

    I friggen love the brazil nut version, send em this way...Speaking of roses...the mother had a box of em in the cupboard and i started into them well before xmas thinking she would let us have em...found them all wrapped up for our neighbour...cant figure out how she didnt notice that about 1/4 of the box was eaten...:confused:
