Favourite roses sweet gone

    Yeah so I just cracked open a tin of roses, tis the season and all that, and the best sweet in the tin the chewy caramel jobbie appears to be awol.

    My dismay knows no bounds :(

    The best one is the purple one with the nut and the caramel. I usually just pour the box out on the table and nab the lot. Anyone who has a problem with that gets a thick lip from me, and that includes the ma.

    They've changed the wrapper for the caramel one (it's my favourite too woden). The caramel keg now looks like the one you want. The one you want is in a blue wrapper. Check the little book that comes with them.

    ours is nearly gone now to , we have heros and celebrations to eat tho so wooop woop!

    I had a nasty surprise when I bit into what I thought was a lovely hard caramel only for it to be a manky soft one. Yuck. :mad:

    Probably not....

    a few years ago, it was possible to buy a box of just them. and a few other roses sweets IIRC. pretty sure i saw them in a shop somewhere here.

    I have half a bird and a dozen sprouts floating in a belly of Guinness., grabbed me my beloved caramel chewy and my teeth melted right through it, thought it was the booze feckin with my head!
